Aloha Hawaiʻi Onipaʻa is offering partial scholarships to Native Hawaiian students pursuing degrees in environmental, natural resource, earth sciences, agriculture or astronomy and committed to working toward a sustainable future for Hawaiʻi families and communities.

I. Two scholarships for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Hawaii, providing $2,000 per year for a total of four years ($8,000)

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a four-year B.S. program at a University of Hawaii campus, beginning in Fall Semester 2019.
  • Be of Native Hawaiian ancestry.
  • Maintained a 3.0 GPA in high school or equivalent; and 2.5 GPA for the duration of the scholarship.

II. Two scholarships for students pursuing a two-year degree in agriculture at any community college in Hawaii, providing $1,500 per year for a total of two years ($3,000)

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a two-year Community College program in Hawaii, beginning in Fall Semester 2019
  • Be of Native Hawaiian ancestry.
  • Maintained a 3.0 GPA in high school or equivalent; and 2.5 GPA for the duration of the scholarship.
